If you want to organize your retreat in Sicily in collaboration with Kamla Yoga contact me through the appropriate form.
Nowadays, there is such a wide variety of yoga-based holidays, retreats, and training that it sometimes becomes difficult to distinguish and find out what is good for you.
Moreover, each yoga teacher will bring their concept and vision to their yoga classes. The tradition they follow, their experience, and their knowledge will eventually shape and imprint the type of retreat they will offer to their students.
I want to offer you some tips and guidelines to help you identify what type of retreat might fit you better at Kamla Yoga.
I divide my retreats into three subtypes: yoga holiday retreat, yoga retreat, and yoga training.
The yoga holiday retreat is the lightest formula, ideal for those who want to have some relaxing and fun time enriched by yoga and meditation sessions.
A yoga holiday will be ideal if you want to practice yoga and meditation daily. Still, you also want to have some free time to enjoy yourself without committing to a busy timetable of yoga classes.
A day on a yoga holiday will typically begin and end with yoga and meditation.
I like to offer various yoga styles and meditations so you can experience something new and fresh every day. You may expect to be busy with yoga classes for about 3/ 4 hours per day.
We will be busy with some group activities, excursions, sightseeing, sunbathing at the beach or by the pool, relaxing together by reading a book or telling each other our life stories during the rest of the day.
A yoga holiday retreat is perfect if you look for a meaningful vacation, well-being, and quality time making new friends.
A yoga retreat is the best option for those looking for a time for introspection, self-inquiry, and connection with themselves and others.
This formula is more intense as you undertake more yoga sessions and meditations and participate in sharing circles during the day. You may expect to be busy with sessions for about 4/6 hours per day.
My yoga retreats aim to create a safe space for you to explore and feel yourself at a deeper level to heal and restore. Thanks to the sharing circles, you build solid and meaningful connections with the other retreat participants, so you all go through the journey experiencing togetherness.
Yoga training is the most intense way to retreat at Kamla Yoga.
Whether you are looking to acquire new skills and solid knowledge in addition to having an unforgettable me time, this formula is for you.
My yoga training blends the elements of a yoga course and a yoga retreat to deliver unique and profound experiences to its participants.
You may expect to be busy with yoga classes (theory and practice), meditation, and sharing circles for about 8/ 10 hours a day.
During the day, we will move from one class to another in a harmonious and well-balanced flow of the different types of sessions to gain the maximum benefit without feeling exhausted. On the opposite, your energy will rise, and you return home fulfilled, reborn, with beautiful memories and new friends for life.
Finally, whatever option you choose, you will always stay at a beautiful resort, villa, or farmhouse surrounded by uncontaminated nature and silence, pampered by lovely and caring hosts to feel at home.
There will always be plenty of time to socialize, laugh, and dance together. Every day will eventually be a new adventure in and out of your inner world in the company of many other beautiful souls.
Last but not least, you will taste delicious food based on local and seasonal products to provide your body with nourishing and healthy nutrients. Light vegetarian and vegan food with no garlic, onion, or spices is optimal for supporting the body and mind during intense yogic practice. We are what we eat, so I also dedicate special attention to our diet during the retreat.
I hope that this information will help you understand the difference between one retreat and the other and allow you to choose the best formula for yourself.
